Endoscopic Cohesive Gel Breast Augmentation
Endoscopic-assisted breast augmentation using cohesive silicone gel implants customized to thoracic width, tissue thickness, and natural body proportions.
Overview: Cohesive Gel Breast Augmentation
BONITA's Breast Augmentation program (breast.html) focuses on creating a proportionate breast silhouette, natural upper-pole slope, and soft mobility tailored to the patient's ribcage geometry and soft-tissue envelope.
Surgical Planning & Technique
- Cohesive Gel Implant Selection: Form-stable cohesive gel implants are selected after measuring chest wall width, breast base diameter, nipple-to-inframammary fold distance, and soft-tissue pinch thickness.
- Endoscopic Pocket Dissection: High-definition endoscopic visualization allows precise dissection and electrocautery hemostasis, helping reduce tissue trauma and post-operative bleeding.
- Incision & Plane Customization:
- Incision Options: Transaxillary (underarm), inframammary fold (IMF), or periareolar, chosen based on anatomy and scar preference.
- Pocket Planes: Dual-plane, subpectoral, or subfascial placement according to upper-pole tissue coverage.
Recovery & Potential Risks
- Post-Operative Care: Patients are fitted with a supportive post-surgical garment and guided through structured follow-up checks with Dr. Kwang-Seup Jung.
- Potential Risks & Side Effects: Post-operative swelling, bruising, hematoma, seroma, infection, changes in nipple or skin sensation, implant malposition, rippling, or capsular contracture.
